Powerhouse Functional Fitness is proud to host our 2nd Soda City Classic! Join us on August 9th, 2025, at Brickhouse Gym for this USA Weightlifting Sanctioned Event that allows athletes to practice for VIRUS Weightlifting Series 2 (previously NAO 2) and qualify for VIRUS Weightlifting Finals (previously AOF).

How many athletes are competing?

This event will be capped at 60 registrants. A schedule will be released two weeks prior to the event and a final start list will be released on August 3rd , 2025.
What can I expect on competition day?

A:
The event will take one day, up to 4 sessions, on one platform. Stage lighting and music will be employed to elevate the competition experience. There will also be vendors and a food truck.
Will there be a photographer?

A photographer will be taking pictures and videos throughout the event. Your media package can be purchased by contacting us at admin@powerhouseff.com.
Can I come watch the competition?

A $5 admission fee per spectator will be collected at the door. This fee includes a raffle ticket you can use any of our generous sponsors and vendors. Rest assured, 100% of these fees will go directly to our dedicated competition judges, loaders, speakers, marshals, and other hardworking volunteers. Your support helps make this event possible!

Medals and prizes from our partners will be awarded to Top 3 Competitors for Open Men and Open Women based on Sinclair Total, and Top Overall Youth and Masters Competitors.
